Most keep 14 to 30 days; some industries and insurers require more. Retention drives storage more than anything else, and we size the system to the target you need.
Subscription or no subscription?
UniFi Protect records to hardware you own with no per-camera fees. Cloud-first platforms like Verkada remove on-site hardware in exchange for a per-camera plan. We lay out both honestly and let you choose.
